The chapter focuses on Ace wanting to find a way to paint the roses red easily until he discovers Trein has purchased two Magic Brooms to help carry books from Mr. S's Mystery Shop. Ace asked him if he borrowed some of the Magic Brooms, which he has proved. Ace and Deuce demanded the Magic Brooms paint the roses at Heartlabyul Rose Gardens. However, Ace's magic broom doesn't do what he said as it only paints heart-shaped on the roses. Deuce's magic broom made roses patterns on the Heartslabyul dorm wall. Riddle discovered this and confiscated them instead of punishing them for disobeying the rules. Ultimately, Ace and Deuce learn their lessons and decide to do their work themselves instead of relying on something else.
