Episode of Savanaclaw/Chapter 4
The fourth chapter of Disney Twisted Wonderland The Comic -Episode of Savanaclaw- was published in Monthly G Fantasy August 2023 issue on July 18th, 2023 [1]. This chapter covers "A Portrait Spying" and "A Giveaway Effect" (Episode 2 Chapter 16-17) from the game.
Summary
Yuuka experiences a second vision from "The Lion King", this time is Scar making a nefarious plot to kill both his older brother and nephew with the other hyenas. Yuuka, Grim, Riddle, and Cater continue to ask students who were involved with the incident. They meet Jamil, who is one of the victims who got injured, and explain how he got injured when his body was moving on his own as if someone who controls him. Grim remembers the one who injured the other students was Ruggie Bucchi.

This chapter starts off in the middle of the night at Ramshackle dorm, Yuuka has a second vision from The Lion King. The vision of Scar announces an evil plan to kill both his brother and nephew in order for him to become king of the hyenas. Yuuka comments in her dreams on why is Scar desperately wants to become king so badly.
The following day, Yuuka woke up, and she comments that she has another dream about animals in her inner thoughts. She is greeted by Grim before reminding her about breakfast and to get going.
Later, Yuuka and Grim walk through Main Street, Grim asks her what she has been doing at night. After she explains about the guy with horns, Grim came up with a nickname for him, “Hornton”. She blankly comments in her inner thoughts that the nickname is cute. They are greeted by Riddle and Cater. Riddle notices Yuuka’s tie is a bit crooked so he decides to fix it. According to him, following the rules begins with one attire. After he fixed it, Yuuka politely thank him since she is not used to stuff. When Yuuka remembers and asks Riddle and Cater about Ace and Deuce, he explains that according to one of the Queen of Hearts’ rules number 249, they are in the middle of feeding the flamingos while wearing pink. Yuuka and Grim imagine Ace and Deuce in pink attire in a curious and disturbing way. Riddle changes the subject and focuses on their main objective. He reveals another student got injured yesterday evening. Cater checked on his smartphone on the eyewitness report and reveals the victim was second year from Scarabia dorm named Jamil Viper. The cause was a mishap in the kitchen. Riddle decides they should go to the cafeteria to meet with him during breakfast.
At the school cafeteria, the four meet Jamil Viper and the Scarbia dorm leader Kalim Al-Asim. Grim exciting asks Jamil for info on how he got injured which leaves Jamil confused. Suddenly Kalim finally remembers Grim who burns his butt on fire during the ceremony. Displeased by Grim’s tone, Riddle advises Grim to refine his tone for instance like these before he politely apologizes to Jamil and Kalim for the interruption. Kalim was cheerful and commented to have a Heartslabyul dorm leader and show crashing tanuki as a fun combo. Grim gets offensive and reminds Kalim that he’s not a tanuki and properly introduces himself and Yuuka as his sidekick. After Kalim and Jamil properly introduce themselves to them, Yuuka explains they were tasked by the headmaster to do a little investigating for him. She asked Jamil to tell them what occur yesterday. He explains last night, he was in the kitchen cooking some fried mutton rolls at Kalim's request. Kalim interrupts Jamil's explanation and comments that Jamil's fried rolls are literally amazing and invite the others to his dorm to try them. Jamil reminds him for sticking to the topic which Kalim feels bad about. Jamil continues when he was chopping the ingredients, his knife went nuts and sliced his other hand on its own.
After Jamil finished his explanation, Kalim thinks Jamil was exhausted from Spelldrive practice and that his knife skills are good enough to outshine even their head chef. Jamil disagreed with Kalim's statement because it was not enough for his hand to slide like that. He remembers for a brief period, his consciousness seemed to drift away. Yuuka thinks it might be vertigo or maybe a sudden drowsiness. Jamil says most would certainly think so, but he definitely felt that sensation before. He has a feeling it's probably someone's signature magic, one that gives them power over what the other person does. Before Kalim happily mentions the name of Jamil's signature magic, Jamil quickly covers Kalim's mouth and reminds him it's not about him. Cater says that explains why it seemed people were just being careless. Riddle adds by saying that if it were only for a short moment, the victim himself probably wouldn't be able to sense anything was a miss. He certainly didn't feel like someone was controlling him when he fell down the stairs. When Cater complains about finding the culprit gonna be hard mode, Grim remembers something. Grim carefully recalls from the other day when his deluxe sandwich was forcefully traded with mini bean paste as his paws were moving on his own. He screamed and finally know who is the culprit with that kind of signature spell. The one student who has that kind of signature spell is Ruggie Bucchi. The chapter ends with Yuuka and Grim revealing the name of the culprit.

Differences Between Manga and Game

- When Grim suggests giving Malleus a nickname "Tsunotarou", Yuuka comments about the nickname being cute.
- When Yuuka and Grim mention Ace and Deuce, it shows them looking after the pink flamingos are shown. Ace wears a pink overalls and Deuce wears a pink dressy collar shirt.
- In the manga, Jamil's student ID is shown on Cater's phone.
- This chapter shows a flashback of how Jamil got hurt in the kitchen. In the game, he only mentions it.
- Jamil is also shown wearing a small bandage on his middle finger unlike in the game.
Trivia
- The chapter 4 cover features Leona featuring his Birthday Boy outfit except his collar shirt is white as his SSR card from his first limited birthday summoning banner, Leona Birthday Campaign.
- The reason for this is because it was originally going to be a center color spread page which was mentioned in the previous G Fantasy article, but it got was changed for unknown reason.
- This is the last chapter before the manga went on indefinite break which was revealed in Monthly G Fantasy September 2023 issue.
- After four months, the artist confirms on X (formerly Twitter) that the reason the new chapter was delayed was because she had contact with COVID-19.[2]
