This chapter recaps where Riddle's strict rules and discipline to his fellow dorm members. He punished students severely who broke the Queen of Hearts' rules even though it is minor. Riddle's cruel and ignorant behaviors result in the entire dorm students (except Trey and Cater) turning against him. Enraged and feeling betrayed, Riddle starts overusing his Unique Magic and started collaring everyone. Riddle fails to control his emotions.

In the present where Crowley manages to protect Ace and the others from Overblot riddle's attack, the rose garden is destroyed and some of the students who were not able to get away are seriously injured. Trey tries to stop Riddle, but he ignored him by telling them that he's the one issuing orders here. He uses his magic to throw more rose bushes at them. Crowley tries to create a barrier to dispel Riddle's attack again, but everyone struggles to dodge them and ends up injured. Overblot Riddle orders them to stand up and fight since he wants to have all of their heads. Crowley requests all students to retreat to the mirror chamber for a while he tries to buy them to escape. When Cater tells the first years to go, Ace, Deuce, Grim, and Yuuken refuse to leave. They instead charged at Overblot Riddle by combining all of their magic with him, but he canceled it with his Phantom. Confused, Cater questioned them if they got the message from the headmaster, they have their own reasons to stay behind: Grim's reason that it would be bad if Riddle causes more trouble, Deuce saying he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he left, and Ace's reason it because Riddle still has not apologized to him. Trey is surprised by the first year's determination to save Riddle, he decides to fight with them. Trey calmly asks Crowley to evaluate the students. He says he will override Riddle's magic for a while Ace, Deuce, Grim, and Yuuken can handle him. Enraged, Overblot Riddle grew angry at Trey as the blot starts leaking from his head again. Crowley and Cater try to convince them to get away since it is too dangerous to fight Riddle, but they still refuse to give up on Riddle. Deuce thinks this is the easiest way to bring Riddle back to his senses. Yuuken agreed with him because they won't stand a chance if they don't face their fears. Trey apologizes to Cater since he can't lose Riddle here.

The scene shifts to years ago from Trey's perspective on how he along with Chenya met Riddle in his early childhood. The next scene is a rainy day at Trey's family bakery, where Riddle's mother demand Trey's parents apologize for their son corrupting Riddle. Filled with guilt and fear, Riddle held on to his mother's blazer for a while Trey looks shocked.

The following scene shift from young Riddle's crying to the present Riddle where he cries a single blotted tear while he looked sad. Trey says there is something he has to say to him. Yuuken asks Cater if he really turns his back on his fellow members just to save himself. At first, Cater struggles to decide whether help out to save Riddle or save himself, he gives up and chooses the latter even though it's not his scene. Before Crowley leaves, he reinsures them he will be back once he finishes evaluating all students. Overblot Riddle, getting his last nerves to see Ace and the others ready to fight them. He violently swears he will have all of their heads. He summons blots and transforms them into card motif spears. The chapter ends with Overblot Riddle commands all card motif spears at them.
