Episode of Heartslabyul
Twisted Wonderland started a manga adaption, Disney Twisted Wonderland - Episode of Heartslabyul, in the Monthly G-Fantasy issue 04/2021 on March 18, 2021. The art is drawn by Koono Sumire, and Wakana Hazuki is credited for composition. Yana Toboso is also involved in the comics creation, being responsible for the character design, setting, and composition.

Anime
- Main article: Twisted Wonderland The Animation
On October 14th, 2021, Disney+ announced on their Japanese X (formerly known as Twitter) account that an anime adaptation will be produced for the streamer.[5] The seasons will adapt the original smartphone game's accompanying manga under the titles Episode of Heartslabyul, Episode of Savanaclaw, and Episode of Octavinelle. Hanaka Nakano and Akane Satō are in charge of designing the characters.[6]
On March 14th, 2025, a teaser visual for Season 1 of Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation “Episode of Heartslabyul” has been released. Additionally, it has been announced that the stage event for Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation at AnimeJapan 2025 on March 22 will be streamed on Disney Plus’ official YouTube channel.[7]
The tease trailer for Season 1 of Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation's “Episode of Heartslabyul” was released on March 22nd, 2025. It includes the introduction of Heartslabyul's Yu and his voice actor, Yohei Azakami, who will voice Yuken for the first season. [8]
Trivia
- According to Yana Toboso, the manga would tackle the Heartslabyul arc a bit differently from how it’s handled in the game.
- Unlike in the anthologies which Yuu’s existence was left unaddressed, the manga introduces a new character named Yuuken Enma to fill the role of the player character from the game.
- The "A Move-In Struggle", "Window Scrubbing," and "Punishment Ducking" are removed completely in the comic.
