Ortho Shroud is a member of Ignihyde and the younger "brother" of Idia. He always works with him and has the character of his older brother. In contrast to him, he is bright, honest, and very curious.

Appearance
His appearance is that of a young boy (probably around 10 years old) with a metallic body. He has short flaming sapphire blue hair and amber yellow eyes.
Personality
Ortho is usually a cute and kind boy. He also likes to spend time outside with his friends. He tried many times to take his brother to, for example, the park. But when Ortho gets angry, he can ruin his own school in 5 seconds.
Skills and Magic
Ortho is equipped with technomantic energy which he can fire off as a laser. When he uses this it has the same sparkle effect as other students who use their unique magic.
Trivia
- Idia built and designed all of Ortho's bodies.[1][2]
- Ortho's hair is designed to be similar to his brother's hair.[3]
- Ortho tried many times to take Idia to the park.[4]
- Ortho is not an actual NRC student. However, he was accepted into the school with Idia and takes the same classes as him.[5][6]
- According to Ortho's Birthday Gear personal story he recalls memories from eleven years ago, from when he was five years old, which could put him at the age of 16.[7]
- That being said, Ortho has shown to not know what Gao Gao Dracon is, despite Idia indicating that it was popular about ten years before the current timeline of events.[8]
