This is a glossary of terms used in the game, common ways that they are translated by fan translators, and the official translations in the English localisation of the game.

Location Names

Locations are stated in English with each scene change in a story and when selecting a story chapter to read. Although the official translations of the places can be found in the Japanese server of the game long before their introduction into the English server, the names of locations that are mentioned in passing is left up to speculation among fans until they are used in future content. Fan translations of these location names are often used in some older translations.

Unique Magic / Signature Spell

Unique Magic (known in the localised game as Signature Spell) are written in Japanese with two types of names - a kanji-heavy title, along with a title in katakana. Characters have always used the katakana titles when discussing or using the specific unique magic.
