Before Leona can kick Yuuken Ruggie suddenly appears to remind him to attend class. Or else he'll be forced to repeat a year and they will be classmates. Leona finds Ruggie annoying for bugging him like this, causing Ruggie to complain that he doesn't enjoy nagging Leona. Before Leona leaves with Ruggie, he warns Yuuken and Grim to watch themselves the next time they step into his territory. Yuuken and Grim reunite with Deuce and Ace, who successfully found a place with a lot of chestnuts.
They bring several back for Trey and begin to bake the monte blanc tarts, with Trey guiding them step-by-step in the kitchen. Once they're nearly finished, he suggests they add oyster sauce as the final ingredient for the cream flavor, but Ace and Deuce are suspicious because of how unusual it sounds. Trey chuckles and admits he was joking. But he realized that with as much chestnut paste that they made, they don't have enough whipped cream. Deuce volunteers to buy the ingredients they'll need and asks Trey if there is a nearby store selling them. Trey confirms and tells him what they need: two cartons of milk, two cases of eggs, aluminum baking cups and five cans of fruit. Yuuken and Grim volunteer to help Deuce get the groceries, because Grim is sick and tired of mixing stuff.
At the campus store, Deuce, Yuuken and Grim ask the shopkeeper if they have what they need in stock. Sam happily welcomes them and reveals that they do have the items, and while the guys are gathering them Sam asks if they would like to purchase a ufo to help them with their bags. Grim is amazed by the object but Deuce politely declines the offer. Once everything has been bought the guys make their way out of the store and Sam sees them off in a friendly manner.
Yuuken asks Deuce if he needs help carrying his bags, but Deuce declines. He is used to carrying heavy loads, because he used to go with his mom shopping during limited sales. He has always been the man of the house and he's fine carrying heavy loads. He apologizes to Yuuken for rambling just then, but Yuuken admires him for cherishing his mother. Before Deuce could explain his relationship with his mother to Yuuken, he accidentally bumps into another student, causing most of the eggs to crack when they fall. The delinquent acts rudely to Deuce and tells him to watch where he is going, but Deuce corrects the delinquent by pointing out that it was he who knocked him over. The delinquent refuses to take responsibility for his actions. Deuce calmly asks him to repay him for the eggs he destroyed, but the delinquent refuses. Eggs aren't worth fighting for, and they're still usable even if they broke. This causes Deuce to snap and he angrily grabs the student by the collar. Grim and Yuuken are shocked witnessing this. Deuce scolds his lack of care for the eggs and the chapter ends with him threatening to punch the delinquent if he refuses to pay for the eggs he broke again.
