Episode of Heartslabyul/Chapter 6

The sixth chapter of Disney Twisted Wonderland The Comic -Episode of Heartslabyul- was published along with Chapter 7: Snack Trouble! in Monthly G Fantasy September 2021 issue on August 18th, 2021. This chapter is the last to follow the Prologue and the beginning of Heartslabyul arc.

This chapter covers the second half of "The Prologue Adjourned", "A Desperate Heart" and the first half of "A Misappropriated Tart" (Prologue Chapters 20,Episode 1 Chapter 1-2) from the game.

Summary

After Yuuken and Grim return to Ramshackle dorm, they inform Ace and Deuce of what happened since they left. Afterwards, Ace accidentally broke a rule after he ate a tart in the kitchen and got collared by Riddle who caught him. In the middle of the night, Yuuken experience a strange dream based from Alice in Wonderland.

This chapter starts off with Grim getting scared by Ramshackle ghosts. Ace and Deuce visits the Ramshackle dorm and the two groups inform each other of what happened since they parted ways earlier. It's getting late, so Ace and Deuce return to their dorm and part ways. Ace is feeling hungry though, so he heads into the kitchen for a midnight snack to make up for the meal he had to miss. He finds the tarts and eats one of them, but while commenting on how delicious it is, Riddle suddenly catches him. Enraged, Riddle prepares to punish Ace for breaking one of the Queen of Hearts' rules again.

In the middle of the night, the mirror glows in Yuuken's room and has a vision from the scene of Alice in Wonderland. Alice asks the card soldiers why they must paint the roses red, and they tell her that if they don't, it will be off with this heads. Yuuken wakes up and comments on his strange dream. This chapter ends with Ace (who got collared by Riddle) visiting Yuuken and Grim. He decides to stay at the Ramshackle dorm.

• Crowley gave Yuuken the ghost camera off-panel.
• The scene of Ace getting caught by Riddle for eating a tart isn't shown in the form of flashback like in the game. Instead, it took place after he and Deuce visit Yuuken and Grim.
  • Riddle collared Ace off-panel.
• Yuuken's first vision from Alice in Wonderland took in the form of illustration storybook instead of old film scenes like in the game.
• This is first time Yuuken is shown wearing pajama in the comic, none of any characters are shown wearing them in the game.
