The chapter starts off with Jade meeting with Azul's office to inform him about a call from a client who wants to speak with them at the lounge. Azul becomes interested as he has a plan to give them a "special welcome" for them and look forward to what they wish for.

Meanwhile, a student named Yuuta Mito has a vision based on "The Little Mermaid". When the vision starts, Yuuta comments on his dream about the awful storm. The scene shows a young mermaid named Ariel saving a human man named Eric from a storm and taking him to shore. She becomes determined in her new dreams of living with humanity. Unknown to Ariel, she is being spied on by two eels. The following morning, Yuuta woke up early started cooking breakfast, and made chashu baos and tea. Before he can finish his breast fast, he hears Grim's voice from their room. Yuuken greets Grim, who is presumably studying for the final exams. He offered Grim some chashu baos and told him not to skip breakfast. Grim didn't listen to him, he put a whole chashu baos and ran off until Yuuta grabbed his tail and scolded him. Forcing Grim to sit down and eat it.

Yuuta recalls his past three months ago before he arrived at Twisted Wonderland where he was a food delivery for his father’s restaurant in his original world. During his food delivery, he crashes into a black carriage. By the time he regained consciousness, he was already transported to another world called Twisted Wonderland.

In the present, after Grim finishes his meal, he and Yuuta go to class for their final exams until they meet up with Ace and Deuce, who are in the same class together. Yuuta recalls how Ace and Deuce never felt his nor Grim’s side and always hung out, especially in the fights against Overblot Riddle and Leona. Later, Yuuta and the others will feel confident enough to take their exams but unexpectedly encounter their teacher Crewel, who reminds them about their exams.

During the final exams, Yuuta, Grim, Deuce, and Ace worked hard on taking their exams. After class was finished, Grim and Yuuta ate their lunch in class. Ace angrily notices that Grim stole his snack. Grim doesn’t deny it, claiming he picks up what’s inside someone's desk. Ace chases after Grim for stealing his food. As Ace and Grim attempt to do a magic battle, they stop for some reason. Instead, they quickly let this slide since they don’t want to get in trouble with the teachers. Yuuta decides to share his food with Ace since his lunch was stolen.

Several days later, they get their exam results. Ace, Deuce, and Grim scored average on their exams. Crewell noticed something strange about how many students got good grades after studying so hard. Grim, Ace, and Deuce became uneasy and nervous for some reason. Later, Yuuta and the others went to the hallway where all student's grades were posted. Ace, Deuce, and Grim looked at their ranks to see if they made it to the top 5, but they didn't. Yuuta, who was the only calm, congratulated them for passing the exams. He has no idea why Grim, Deuce, and Ace are panicking about their grades results. Both of them realize (except Yuuta) that they made a deal and contract with a particular person to pass their exams. Suddenly, everyone who didn’t get into the top 5 (except Yuuta) spouts sea anemones on top of their heads. Ace, Deuce, and Grim reacted in horror. They started arguing against each other about how they made a contract with the same guy. Grim tries to pull out the sea anemone on his head, but it won't come out. Yuuta realizes all the other students have sea anemones on their heads as well. Jack appears among the few students without a sea anemone since he takes his studies seriously and never cheats. Suddenly, every student with a sea anemone on their head forcibly pulled their heads and forced them to go somewhere. Yuuta suggests that Jack go after them and see where they are going, but Jack denies his offer since he's uninterested. He changes Jack's mind by calling him a chicken for not wanting to know what lies ahead. Jack reminds Yuuta that the only reason he's going after the students with sea anemones is because he is curious, not them.

Meanwhile, Azul and the Leech twins meet up with his client. Azul asks his client why he didn't attend yesterday's appointment, and he claims he was dealing with a stomach bug the other day. Azul warns him about lying. He requests Jade to offer his client a mid-push so he can be more open with them. Jade uses his Unique Magic, "Shock the Heart," on the client by forcing him to look in his eye. He asks the client why he didn't respond to Azul's summons yesterday. He says he had it up to here with being a pawn in Azul's schemes and being sick was an excuse. After the client regains his senses, he tries to apologize to Azul, but it is too late for takebacks. Azul called Floyd over and had him squeeze him, much to the client's horror reaction. Azul complains that slackers know how to avoid paying their debts to Jade. Jade informs Azul about the numerous students who failed to reach the top 5 in the exams. The chapter ends with Azul preparing to meet up with the students with a sea anemone on their heads.
