Ruggie and Rook asked us to come check up on the guys who got hurt during that whole incident.
What brings you here, Professor?
Crewel
Crewel

Two little puppies from my class got caught up in that kerfuffle. I can't believe these pups would try biting so high above their weight-class.
Hm? Looks like you've got your own share of scrapes and bruises, Yuu. Come. I suppose I can take a moment to patch those up.

Jack
Jack
Which beds are Ace and Deuce in? Ah, found 'em.
Epel
Epel
They're still passed out.
Jack
Jack
Are you sure you should be up already?
Epel
Epel
Other than a bit of numbness, I'm good to go.
Crewel
Crewel
The traces their spells left behind on you pups shows that their priority was stunning you, not causing real harm.
So the reason you lot in particular suffered so many injuries was because of your unfortunate battleground.
Epel
Epel
How'd— How did that affect anything, sir?
Crewel
Crewel
If you go around firing off spells in a place that rundown then friend and foe are going to have rubble raining down on them.
Freshmen would find it nearly impossible to keep a magical barrier up for the rubble-shower while going on the offensive.
The greatest weapon at your disposal when you find yourself a victim of a surprise attack is a cool head.
Lose that cool and this is the only possible outcome.
Epel
Epel
An, hah hah. I can't deny that there was debris falling on us the whole battle.
Choice 1: Actually, there was even a falling cauldron at one point.
Choice 2: Their spells did blow out all the windows.
Crewel
Crewel
These bad boys didn't give the consequences a single thought. I'll make sure to thoroughly retrain them once they wake up.
Epel
Epel
But they sought so hard to save Grim.
Crewel
Crewel
It makes no difference. Disciplining pups who can't behave is part of a trainer's job.
I'm just grateful that their injuries aren't any worse than this.
If your opponents had been out to take your lives then you'd be past the point of no return.
Epel
Epel
Yes, professor. I'm sorry.
Vil knew that, and that's why he had us freshmen fall back.
Man, I'm such a dunderhead. I couldn't hold my own at all.
Ay I could do w's sit by while Vil and the guys got bodied and carted off.
Choice 1: It really hammered home how powerless I am.
Choice 2: I was utterly useless the whole time.
Jack
Jack
Nobody can do anything right out the gate.
Epel
Epel
Huh?
Jack
Jack
Our seniors weren't born as strong as they are.
They probably had to grit their teeth through all kinds of struggles.
Nothing's gonna change if you just go around whining about what you couldn't do.
So what you need to figure out is what you CAN do from now on.
So you can't just wallow in self pity. That's not gonna help anyone.
Epel
Epel
Jack...
Crewel
Crewel
Very well done, Howl. That's an excellent outlook.
I'll have to see if there's anything we can do on our end to help the Headmage and the students that got abducted.
Felmier, Yuu, both of you need to go rest and recover.
Epel
Epel
Understood. I have no problem walking, so I'm going to head back to the dorm.
Jack
Jack
From the look of the infirmary, there aren't any bedridden Savanaclaw students. So I'm gonna leave too.
Epel
Epel
Please take care of Ace and Deuce, Professor Crewel.
Crewel
Crewel
I don't need you to tell me that. These two pups were entrusted to me, so I'll take good care of them.
The same goes for you, Yuu…and Grim.
All the students of class 1-A are Master Crewel's precious pups. And yet…
…someone else laid a hand on my charges. Consider me furious.
Epel
Epel
Imma do whatev'r I c'n, too!
Crewel
Crewel
Sit down! Listen here, pup.
Now is the time for the adults to take over, so stay put and don't try coming up with any wild ideas.
Jack & Epel
Jack & Epel
Yes, sir! Thank you.
Jack
Jack
Oh yeah, Yuu, Ramshackle got kinda obliterated, didn't it? Where're you planning to hole up now?
Choice 1: Ah. I completely forgot.
Choice 2: As long as the roof's intact, I should be good.
Epel
Epel
Say, why don't you come stay at Pomefiore while Ramshackle's being patched up?
I'm sure Vil would make the same offer. Probably.
Jack
Jack
True. I can see him sayin' that.
Epel
Epel
*Giggle* Then we should get you to Pomefiore, I'm sure Rook'll give you a warm welcome, too.
Jack
Jack
See ya guys later.
Epel
Epel
See you. And thanks for the talk.
Today was sure a long one. I'm hopping in the shower the second—
*Bam*
Epel
Epel
Woah!
???
*Thud*
