The last question is… Oh, I might be a little interested in your response to this one too.
“How do you spend your days off?”

My days off, hm… Whenever I do not have any plans in particular, I will read books, or play the violin.

Don’t know what to say, that doesn’t surprise me at all. Do you not go outside at all?
|
Malleus

Outside, hm. In the past, I would visit the Ramshackle dorm often. Recently, however, it has become livelier, so I haven’t been going there recently…

True, it kinda feels like quiet places would suit you more. Even a bit earlier, you were saying how you like ruins, yeah?
|
Malleus

Well, I wonder.

Ah, when you say that… What, are there other places you like?
We can say that, for the sake of the interview, your answer is “reading books and playing the violin,” but… I kinda want to know for myself.

I cannot say it is anything interesting. I only travel to the town at the base of the mountain from time to time.

That town at the foothills!? I got often, but I had no idea you go too.
I’d think you’d stand out in all sorts of ways, especially if you had Sebek, or Silver-senpai with you, so I’m surprised I hadn’t heard whispers of you visiting there.

Sebek and Silver? …Ah, I do hope you’ll keep this conversation between us.
I am simply speaking of how I spend “my” days off, after all.

Ah-haaah, I see. I get you. So… What do you do when you sneak off?
|
Malleus

What do I do…? I simply wander as I please. I don’t have any objective in mind.
The place I most often go must be the second-hand bookstore. They have collected a wide range of books, including historical books, novels, poetry, and grimoires.
Their actual selection is one aspect, but what is especially interesting is the method in which they price their books. Once, a rare tome was listed for only a handful of madol.

Only a couple madol!? That sounds like, if you bring it to the right place, you could probably sell it for a good price…

What, are you more interested in the worth of these books, instead of the contents? If so, there are better places to go.

Yep, yep, I wanna know!

That would be an antique market. They tend to open irregularly, however if I encounter one I will stop by.
They sell many items, including ceramics and decorations. There are a plethora of expensive articles mixed in amongst everything.

Hrrrm, I don’t know if I’d be good at sussing those out. But, anyway…
When I heard you say you just wander the town, I thought it was pretty normal, but… you go to second-hand bookstores and antique markets, huh.
I don’t even know if I can call going to those stores “shopping,” either. That really is just like you, Malleus-senpai.
That’s it for the interview. Malleus-senpai, thank you very much!

I am also grateful to you, Trappola. It isn’t often I am able to hold conversations like this with underclassmen of a different dorm.

That’s great. ‘Kay, here’s the broom!
Usually, when I think of bouquets, I imagine something cute or pretty, but yours has a cool and dark tone.

Indeed, it has a calming color scheme with a nice flourish. Not a bad design whatsoever. I like it.

I suppose I should properly respond to your encouraging words. Well then, I shall head towards the birthday road.
Flying through the sky is a simple task… But this is a special occasion. For all those who have gathered here, I will make sure to leave my image etched forever more.
