"Vargas CAMP! ~Spring Happening~" is a Battle Event featuring Leona Kingscholar, Sebek Zigvolt, Floyd Leech, and Ruggie Bucchi. One day, Ashton Vargas and Dire Crowley announced to all the sports club members that they will be attending a 3-day training camp in the mountains to build up their physical strength. The students are initially reluctant to participate, but Vargas then declares an ultimatum: Clubs that fail to clear all of the challenges he set for the camp will have to disband.
As the students do their best in their respective groups to complete the challenges and meet Vargas's expectations, something fishy begins to take place. Several students, including Ace and Leona, go missing midway through the camp. The students later discover that a monster is kidnapping them! However, it's too fast and too strong for them to fend off. Eventually, only Floyd, Jack, Ruggie, and Sebek remain for the final night on their own, without their Magical Pens or anyone else to help them. But that's not the only surprise the mountains have to offer...
The event story contains 37 chapters which were split into five episodes of various lengths. episodes 1 to 3 were released together with the start of the event, while the remaining episodes and the Extra Battles were released a week later.
Unlike previous Battle Events, there are 2 shops in this event: the Vargas Ticket Shop and the Vargas Badge Shop.

On 2 April, Episodes 4 and 5 of the event story, along with the Extra Battles, were released after maintenance ended at 16:00 JST.
Re-run: All Episodes are available as you progress through the story.
Additionally, furniture Outdoor Wear (Ruggie) is available for a limited time after completing the re-run Event Story.
How to Play
- Collect Crackers via Lessons
- Use the Crackers to unlock the Event Stories
- Participate in Event Battles to gain Vargas Tickets
- Exchange for rewards with Vargas Tickets
- Vargas Badges are obtained as you progress through the story. Up to 7 Badges can be obtained.

Differences from the Original Event
- The full event story was available from the start.
- EXTRA BATTLE Lv 3 was added to the rerun only.
- The first event background available in the Vargas Badge Shop (Campsite) was moved to the Vargas Ticket Shop instead.
- A new event background was added to the Vargas Badge Shop in the rerun - Bottomless Swamp.
- Limited event furniture (SSR Ruggie Outdoor Wear's outfit) was available for crafting until September 15, 2022 14:59 JST.
