Dwarfs' Mine

The Dwarfs' Mine (ドワーフ鉱山, Dowāfu Kouzan) is a place where fairies live and a mine that has various magic crystals. According to Crowley, the mine has been closed for a while, and it's very possible it is exhausted of crystals. This location was introduced in Prologue 14.

History

The residents of the Dwarfs' Mine used to work at the mine and live in the Dwarf Cottage until, for unknown reasons, the mine closed down, and the Dwarf Cottage was deserted. Creatures now lurk in the abandoned mineshafts and protect the remaining magical crystals. In Prologue 14, the ghosts of the mine comment that Ace, Deuce, Grim, and the Prefect are their first visitors in ten years, possibly indicating the time frame of the mine's closure.

In Episode 2-2 of Vargas CAMP! ~Spring Happening~, it is said that back when the mine was still active, the miners working there accidentally caused a massive forest fire. Ever since then, the fairies of the Silent Woods have become afraid of fire and refer to it as a 'red flower.' Whether this incident is connected to the ultimate closure of the Dwarfs' Mine is not said.

• The Dwarfs' Mine shares the same name as the Dwarfs' Mine from the 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
