Trey Trey	Alright, but be sure and make it quick. Showing way more care for his own personal research than our mission… Man, science club sure is full of guys who only know how to do things at their own pace. Maybe I should organize some stuff while I'm waiting here. Eh..? Who’s that over there?
Idia Idia	A small flame doesn't need much firewood. Gotta remember not to throw too much on and give it some room to breathe or it’s game over. I should feed it my Super Striker Stick to help it kindle… maybe. Fuhee, I’ve got this 3-pointer lesson Fate/Edge did on how to start a fire down pat. It’s just regular common sense stuff, but kudos to them for making it extra easy to remember. And since I completed my mission gathering that firewood loot, I can copy what they did in the video next.

Trey Trey	Some theory about how a long time ago everything around this mine used to be under oceanwater.  But well, there’s not any coastal landforms here so who knows how true it is or not.

Idia Idia	W-Well, uh, sorry to burst your bubble but I was just in it to do my own thing, not do presentations or whatever for anyone else…

He may not be as pushy as those guys higher up on the cheerful character list ranking, but once you get Trey-shi going the convo doesn't stop… Ugh, I just can’t deal with that kind of energy. Trey Trey	Man, catching that giant catfish sure was tough; I’m completely stuffed. Wish I could just lie in the tent and relax a little but…  Looks like we’re not done with the other missions yet so I should go give the other guys a hand.
??? ???	Great news, Trey-kun.
Trey Trey	Hey there, Rook. What news?
Rook Rook	The members assigned to the survival mission have just returned. It appears obtaining the lanternblossom took quite the toll on them, though…  Take a look. They’re scarfing down that catfish you prepared without a word to spare between them.
Trey Trey	Haha… I imagine they were practically starving. I’m glad we cleared our mission before they came back.  I just kind of wish I’d been able to do something to bring out a little more flavor in it somehow.  Just salting the catfish and the other fish and grilling them is fine and all, but the taste was a little lacking… I guess you can only do so much with the minimal seasoning and herbs we were given to cook with, though. Nothing fancy about it, that’s for sure. Well, that just leaves the self-study mission. Finding a magestone even larger than the fragment we found yesterday might be a real challenge.  I’ll go see how it's going at the mine, since I'd rather we didn’t get stuck having to switch clubs.
Rook Rook	Oya, are you going by yourself? I feel the same way you do, after all.
Trey Trey	You should rest up some, Rook. I’m sure you’re tired from wrestling that huge catfish, right?

Science Club Member B Science Club Member B	The rock here is pretty solid, though. Trying to dig a few out without scratching them took us a lot of time.
Trey Trey	Uhh guys, I’m not sure it’s a good idea to just make off with them if they’re valuable or something.

I'll admit I’m curious to know what they are as well. Let’s dig them out quickly and then get back to camp. Well, I say that, but honestly it’s my first time doing any real mining since Malleus did all the work for us yesterday. I don’t have any insight or even know how to handle a pickaxe, so I can’t guarantee I’ll be any help.

Trey Trey	Yeah. I couldn’t tell by the way the stones were buried in the wall, but I’ve used bits of salt that looked exactly like these for baking before. The kind I bought at the school commissary was colorless and clear, but I remember it said “crystal rock salt” on the package.
Ghost C Ghost C	That’s correct! Just as Trey-kun said, all of these stones here are a rare form of rock salt.
Rook Rook	Rock salt, you say… I’ve seen Vil use it when he eats and in his skincare, but nothing quite as translucent as this. I can’t say I have any idea of what it would taste like, either. Let me give it a try.

Rook Rook	It has quite a complex flavor to it… Indeed it is salt, but there’s also a subtle note of bitterness and sweetness to it. The taste is excellent, however. If you had some of it with you, you wouldn’t need to worry about sodium intake during times of survival.
Trey Trey	And just what kind of situation would that be..? Anyway, rock salt, huh… Hey! I bet it’d make the fish I salted and grilled before taste even better, yeah?

Trey Trey	Finding salt in a place like this… Guess those rumors about this area being underwater way back when might be true after all. At any rate, check out the beautiful color of it. At a glance, I doubt anyone would think it was salt. I wouldn’t have ever dreamed of seeing such a rare sight before we left. When we get back, I’ll have to show the other science club guys before I use it to cook. Oh, and when Idia gets back to camp I should say something about it to him, too. He mentioned being interested in stuff like this. I’m sure he’d want to hear all about it.
