That…sure is a ship…

Y-You wouldn't even believe this used to be a coliseum!

Shishishi. Everyone's so surprised.

Hah, of course they are. None of the other dorms would be able to make a set as overboard as this one.
|
Jack
|
Yeah! I think this is a very Savanaclaw-like Halloween!
Given our stage is a ship, our costumes are naturally…
|
Jack
Jack

…pirates.
I read this book in elementary school about this pirate who sailed the seven seas while fighting a gigantic crocodile.
The protagonist was this really cool captain who I looked up to. I'd pretend to be a pirate a lot as a kid.
Me and my friends would put on hats, use sticks as sabers, and go on the hunt for hidden treasure.

Oh, I know about that book, as well! I used to pretend to be a pirate a lot as a kid, too.

Same here. Guess it's known all around the world.

It's the "The Adventures of the Moustached Captain" series, right? Seven volumes and two spin-offs. Ortho used to read it a long time ago.

When the topic of costumes came up, I remembered when I used to play pretend, so I thought we could make it this year's theme.

Pirates are a free people. They cross the sea with only their power and intellect, bound by nothing.
Savanaclaw's practically built on survival of the fittest, so it suits us, no? It was a great suggestion for something a first year thought up.

Jack
Jack

Thank you!
And so, since we were dressing up as pirates, we'd need a ship, right?
So we prepared one. We've set it up like a shipwreck. You can even go inside!
We thought it would be neat if we pretended to be pirate ghosts that have the willpower to protect their treasure forever,
so we had to make sure we prepared something like that, as well.
Ruggie showed us how to make fake treasure, and we did our best to copy him.
It was amazing to see just how fast he managed to replicate the gold coins.

Honestly, I would usually refuse to do work that doesn't earn me anything.
But, hey, not like Halloween happens all year. Can at least work my butt off to make sure there's a feast on the 31st!
|
Idia

Hmm… It's frustrating, but the inside is well-made, as well.
Even the layout of the ship is exactly as it is in the kids' book. This is practically a live-action set.
How did you make the ship? This isn't a hologram, it's real, right? Did you use Leona's magic?
|
Jack
Jack
|
Huh? Magic?
Of course not. Everyone at Savanaclaw banded together to carry wood here and build it from scratch.
|
Idia
Idia

Carry the… Wait, you made all of this by hand?!
|
Jack
Jack
|
Um, yes, we did… Is that strange?
|
Idia
Idia

Something of this scale is basically a building more than it is a display. You made this all by hand, probably sweating all the while…
Of course this is something only the jocks of Savanaclaw could pull off. It'd be way too much of a hassle to waste my time on this, like, no thanks.

Leona

Oi, radish shoot. If you have something you wanna say, say it louder.

Idia

I-I-I-It's nothing, nothing at all…

Ruggie

Something like this is a piece of cake for us.
Not like all our daily morning Magift training is for nothing.
|
Crowley
Crowley

You've utilized the strength Savanaclaw has built up over their daily training...
...to marvelously bring to life a world that children admire. What a splendid Halloween.
Next is the library. The decorating for this area was done by Ignihyde!
