Twisted Wonderland The Animation
Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation (『ディズニー ツイステッドワンダーランド ザ アニメーション』) will premiere on Disney+ in October 2025 and run for three seasons. The seasons will adapt the original smartphone game's accompanying manga under the titles Episode of Heartslabyul, Episode of Savanaclaw, and Episode of Octavinelle. Hanaka Nakano and Akane Satō are in charge of designing the characters.[1]
Background
On October 14th, 2021, Disney+ announced on their Japanese X (formerly known as Twitter) account that an anime adaptation will be produced for the streamer.[2]
The anime was officially announced on November 20th, 2024, and included the new visual key, which would be set in October 2025.[3]
On March 14th, 2025, a teaser visual for Season 1 of Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation “Episode of Heartslabyul” has been released. Additionally, it has been announced that the stage event for Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation at AnimeJapan 2025 on March 22 will be streamed on Disney Plus’ official YouTube channel.[4]
The teaser trailer for Season 1 of Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation's “Episode of Heartslabyul” was released on March 22nd, 2025. It includes the introduction of Heartslabyul's Yu and his voice actor, Yohei Azakami, who will voice Yuken for the first season. [5]
On August 5th, 2025, it been announced that the first season of Twisted Wonderland The Animation will consist of 8 episodes in total. It has been announced that a new episode will be released exclusively on Disney+ every Wednesday, starting October 29. Followed by a new official visual.[6]
On September 28th, 2025, a main promotional video for Disney Twisted Wonderland The Animation was released. Alongside the trailer, it was revealed that the ending theme will be “Obedience” performed by the Heartslabyul Dorm.[7]
On October 13th, 2025, an English-dubbed cast was announced, and the English dub trailer was released.[8]
On November 12th, 2025, it’s been announced that Season 2 is currently in development.[9]

Trivia
- On the first tease key visual poster of the first season, there is an error on the statue based from Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. The label says “The Fairest Queen” instead “Queen of Hearts”.
