The guys exit the museum to find Ace still chatting up the mermaid guard out front. They are impressed that he's still going and signal from behind to let him know they're done. He meets back up with them and Deuce reveals the picture, but before they can return to the surface they begin to sense something foreboding is approaching them. Just then the Leech twins appear again. They compliment the group after remarking on their stubbornness, however, they can't let them return just yet. Floyd suggests they play until the sun sets, causing Ace to quickly determine their plan; they're going to keep chasing them around until then, beat them up and steal back the picture. That way they don't get their anemone removed and they keep working for them. Jade confirms, saying that its "good business sense". Ace goes on to ask Yuuta what his plan is, and Yuuta instructs the others to keep the photo away from the brothers for now. After a whole, Floyd gets tired of chasing them around. Jade assures his brother they won't have to keep at it for much longer. Jack points out to Yuuta that the deadline is approaching.
Meanwhile, Azul is at Mostro Lounge. He observes the time on his phone and laughs. Soon he will have both Ramshackle Dorm and the photo in his possession. Just then he's interrupted by a staff member, who came to inform him of a problem. Jade and Floyd aren't there to stop it. Azul complains and gets up to handle it, wondering what sort of lout would be responsible for starting something in an establishment like this. To his shock, he finds the lounge full of Savanaclaw students and he's caught off-guard by how busy the place is so shortly after they opened. The various students make a fuss complaining over drink refills and how tired they are of waiting as he makes his way through the crowd. He accidentally bumps into Ruggie, who assures him its alright, and once Azul passes he laughs to himself. Azul is approached by worried staff, who inform him that with how crowded they are, they ran out of stock. On top of that they're understaffed so they're having trouble filling orders. Azul instructs one of them to get money from the safe to go buy more products, until he realizes the key is missing. He feverishly checks before something dons on him, and he returns to the VIP room to find Leona waiting for him. Leona remarks on how worked up he looks and Azul cuts him off to ask what he's doing there. Leona holds up the key and explains that he found it, he just came to bring it back to him. When Azul reaches for the key Leona yanks it away from him, and once Azul demands that he give it back he hands it over with no fuss. Leona takes off but Azul is suspicious and checks the safe to realize that all of the contracts are gone.
Outside, Leona compliments Ruggie's thieving skill while setting down two large piles of contracts. Ruggie is impressed by the large amount of them, causing Leona to remark that Azul's probably been stockpiling them before he enrolled at Night Raven. Leona takes out his magic pen and prepares to use his unique magic to destroy them when suddenly someone yells out for him to wait. They turn to find a breathless Azul and Leona immediately tells him not to come any closer, threatening to destroy the contracts if he does. Azul hesitantly asks for Leona to give them back, causing Leona to mock him for his change in demeanor. Based on how much he's panicking now, Leona realizes that Yuuta was right. Last night they were discussing the contracts, and it donned on them that Azul said the contracts were rigged to zap anyone who touched them, besides himself. But if that was really true, then it makes no sense for him to hide them. So, it occurred to them that the whole thing was a bluff. Azul knew they were in the room hiding, so he left a contract out for them as bait, and once they got near it he used magic to electrocute them.
Azul is shocked realizing that it was Yuuta's doing, and he asks what he would gain from this. He didn't get anything by having the anemones removed. Leona agrees that he has a point, then he tells Azul to make a deal with him.
